The Kelco F29 can be used to directly control single phase pumps to 2.4 kW such as vertical multistage pumps that are used to pump out to troughs and higher elevation tanks. The F29 eliminates cycling as you can program the F29 to start the pump and have it run for say 2 hours or until the tanks and troughs are full. At the end of the 2 hours of pumping, the F29 will turn the pump off and wait for the programmed amount of OFF time, say 30 minutes to pass, the F29 will then start the pump for the 2 hours of RUN time, after 2 hours of pumping the F29 will turn the pump off and wait for 30 minutes to pass. During the RUN pumping time, if all of the trough and tank valves close, the F29 will turn the pump off early and wait 30 minutes and then turn the pump on again, if the valves are still closed and the troughs are full, the F29 will only allow the pump to run for 15 - 30 seconds which is adjustable and as there is no actual flow, the F29 will turn the pump off again and again, wait for the 30 minutes of OFF time before trying again. All of the times can be adjusted to whatever you select, you can have the pump ON time to 2 hours, 3, 4 5 hours and 32 minutes or whatever you chose in 1 minute increments. The OFF time is also adjustable in increments of 1 minute.
