The Amiad 40mm Tagline filter comes complete with a 130 micron stainless steel heavy duty mesh filter screen, this screen should take out the majority of particles in the water that are above 130 micron in size, that is 0.13 of a millimetre. The screen is not disposable, it is easily cleaned and so can be re-used thousands of times thus reducing the overall cost of filtration. This filter should always be installed on the outlet side of your pump and before the other filters or UV unit. 1 1/2" male BSP inlet and outlet threads and pressure rated to 800 kPa. 116 L/min flow rate at a friction/headloss of only 10 kPa through the filter.
