Battery Backup

We are often asked to supply a critical application pump such as a sump pump, with the ability to operate in the event of a blackout or other power failure.   As we have supplied several systems to manage these situations, I thought it was time to put them on the web site.   Please note that All of our "Critical Application" pump systems are capable of operating on battery power for a minimum of 1 hour.   We can manufacture a critical application power supply system for nearly all of our pumps so if you require something that is not detailed, please call 1300 661 417.

	Grundfos Unilift CC5 Sump pump with Battery Backup system 75 AH Battery An excellent Grundfos pump with fully automatic battery backup which is often used to provide emergency critical pumping capacity on larger 240v or 415v systems.   The CC5 pump is powered from an inverter which draws power from a 75 Amp Hour Glass mat 12v battery.   The battery is on constant charge from the 240v supplied mains charger.   An extremely safe and reliable system that is housed in a steel weatherproof and damp proof enclosure, supplied with all electrical wiring and fully tested.   This unit will run for up 75 minutes on the battery.
